Wyrepak relocated in 2002 to Middletown, Connecticut. In 1999, Wyrepak acquired Watkins U.K. and formed a new company, Wyrepak-Watkins Ltd. Watkins was a competitor of Wyrepak and now the two are combined, providing customers with a fuller range of payoff and tension control equipment to suit every application in the wire, cable & fiber industry. Ray Browne heads up the team as President and Chief Executive Officer concentrating primarily on marketing and overseas sales. David Monighetti is the General Manager of Wyrepak USA. Colin Bailey is the General Manager of Wyrepak-Watkins in the U.K. Payoff equipment is Wyrepak's specialty, featuring simple, yet efficient payoff systems which incorporate tension control, at the required level, as specified by the customer. Wyrepak will address all payoff problems in the wire & cable industry. Wyrepak will help the customer even if the requirement is outside of Wyrepak's manufacturing range.
